UAE – Mubasher: Dubai announced a series of economic initiatives aiming to position Dubai as a top three global economic hub, including an AED 25 billion foreign direct investment (FDI) incentive programme over 10 years.

The programme targets AED 650 billion in FDI by 2033, in line with Dubai's D33 economic agenda, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).

It aims to attract international companies and support expansions of multinational bases in Dubai, leveraging strengths like logistics and talent.

Other moves include launching an economic model dashboard to monitor progress on D33 goals using a database of more than 3,000 indicators.

It will measure performance, forecast trends, and assess policy impacts through scenario analysis and automation.

Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Deputy Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, said, “Dubai is a diverse global city and an international commercial hub synonymous with vitality, diversity, and peaceful coexistence owing to the principles it upholds.”

“At the same time, it maintains its core values and national identity by investing in people and launching initiatives to achieve the goals of Dubai's Social Agenda 33, which fosters happy, strong and tolerant families who are proud of their values and identity,” he added.
